“Eco-Friendly” Micromatic Media™
For almost two decades Eagle Pool & Spa has featured Micromatic Media™ Filtration Systems. Our large pool display areas have allowed us to test all types of filtration systems and found the Micromatic Media™ system superior to sand alone. Micromatic Media™ provides crystal clear water with its rough and pitted surfaces. Dirt and contaminates are trapped between granules, as well as on and in the internal cavities. This media has pits and cavities in which 3 micron sized colloids and fine particles can be trapped. The permeability allows water to actually pass through each granule for micron filtration. The small crystals of Micromatic Media™ can also remove dissolved ammonia and heavy metal contaminants. Absorption of ammonia helps stop the formation of chloramines resulting in less odor in pools. A higher dirt loading capacity compared to sand and D.E., results in less frequent backwashes and conservation of water and chemicals. The same media can be used for many seasons before needing replaced, saving both time and money. Being biodegradable, once exhausted, the media can be returned to the earth.

Black Diamond Cartridge Filter System
Black Diamond cartridge technology keeps pleats from collapsing under pressure and the inner core designed to maintain high volume flow of water.
