Vinyl-Liner In Ground Pools
In 1968 Eagle Pool & Spa began manufacturing and installing vinyl-liner in ground pools. We use only the finest building materials, using the same technology that is used in the construction of bridges, skyscrapers, water towers and applications where maximum strength is required and we combine this with experienced workmanship. As the vinyl-liner in ground pool industry has evolved, Eagle Pool & Spa has expanded by offering virtually an unlimited supply of custom shapes and designs with attached spas and water features. Construction time for vinyl liner pools is typically three to four weeks.
Benefits of Vinyl-Liner Pools:
- Price: Vinyl-liner pools are less expensive than concrete and fiberglass in ground pools. They save money over the life of the pool because they typically will require fewer chemicals than concrete pools. You also avoid future coping and tile costs.
- Weather: Vinyl-liner pools are popular in cold-weather areas of the country. These pools can be easily winterized by protecting the skimmer, removing the water from the plumbing lines and covering them until the spring.
- Smooth Surface: The vinyl-liner is smooth and nonporous, making stain removal easy if stains are treated promptly. Like fiberglass pools, dirt and algae haven’t any pores to cling to so pools tend to stay cleaner and use far less sanitizing chemicals.
- Maintenance: Unlike a plaster finish, a vinyl-liner pool does not change the chemistry of the water. Because of the non-porous surface, you don’t need to brush the pool nearly as often as a plaster-finished concrete pool.
Fiberglass In Ground Pools
A fiberglass pool is factory-manufactured and then installed in one piece in your back yard when your excavation is completed. Eagle Pool & Spa has been installing fiberglass pools since 2003.
Benefits of Fiberglass Pools:
- Price: Fiberglass pools are generally similarly priced as concrete in ground pools, but can save you money over the life of the pool. This is because they typically will require fewer chemicals than concrete pools. You also avoid future re-plastering and liner replacement costs.
- Maintenance: Unlike a plaster finish, a fiberglass shell does not change the chemistry of the water. Because of the non-porous surface, you don’t need to brush the pool nearly as often as a plaster-finished concrete pool.
- Installation: Once your yard has been excavated, the pool is delivered in one piece and installed. Construction time is generally about two weeks.
- Shock absorbent: What happens if the earth moves? Fiberglass has a shock-absorbing ability that allows it to flex up to 2 feet.
