We are looking to fill both full-time and part-time Sales Associate positions at both of our locations.

Full-Time Sales Associate

Opening Responsibilities:

  • Arrive 30 minutes before the store opens
  • Count money for register(s) and fill out daily form
  • Open register programs and all water testing programs
  • Check the Sunshop (Eagleville Store Only) for orders and complete any shipments
  • Open and check retail email, respond as you see fit
  • Check voicemail messages and return calls before opening store
  • Stock anything that needs replenished and check overall appearance of the store
  • Make sure there is water bottles in the fridge for the day
  • Turn on TV
  • Open the store promptly at designated time and abide by any given health and safety standards

Customer Service and daily responsibilities:

  • Be ready to greet and help customers upon opening
  • Offer assistance to all who enter
  • Answer phone calls, transfer calls and take thorough messages
  • Perform water tests and give thorough explanations
  • Understand and be able to explain all pool equipment operations
  • Conduct transactions on the register and use the pool program
  • Keep retail and sales area clean and tidy
  • Stay organized with up to date labeling and retail tickets
  • Make sure all messages are checked and returned
  • Keep bathroom clean
  • Create thorough customer sales order forms for parts, spa covers etc and place in proper bin
  • Keep an eye on all inventory – if stock is low or out, write the description or item number on the white board for ordering
  • Prepare spa kits and label with customer name before expected delivery days
  • Keep refrigerators and microwave clean
  • Keep coffee area clean and stocked
  • Label items and advise transfers to our other store

Closing the store and Recovery:

  • Take out trash and cardboard to dumpsters (break down all boxes)
  • Put products back in proper place
  • Make sure everything is stocked for the next day
  • Clean all door handles and counter mats
  • Shut down water testing programs and computers
  • Lock all doors, including the storage areas, turn off open sign and all other lights
  • Count cash in active registers and follow guide to close for the day
  • Make sure safe and all doors are locked upon leaving

Service and Labor:

  • For items being repaired: Fill out, print, and save information in system based on customer order form, making sure to include the reason for service in as much detail as possible
  • Diagnose and Repair Dolphin cleaners
  • Use appropriate documents, support site and physical tools
  • Follow the service protocol accordingly

Receiving deliveries:

  • Assess delivery and direct drivers to desired drop off location
  • Check for any damages or missing products and follow notation processes
  • Enter packing slips into inventory and put in the appropriate bin in back office for invoicing
  • Check ordered bin when any parts arrive and communicate with customers
  • Maintain inventory and back-order lists
  • Enter items accepted from our other store into inventory

Full-time associate will also be responsible for covering part-time associate’s responsibilities during the winter months.

Part-Time Sales Associate

Opening Responsibilities:

  • Arrive 15 prior to the store opening
  • Make sure all shelves are stocked, including hanging items
  • Assist Full-time employees with store start up
  • Be ready to help and greet customer upon opening
  • Abide by the company’s health and safety standards

Customer Service & Daily Responsibilities

  • Offer assistance to all who enter
  • Stock shelves
  • Assist with maintaining inventory list
  • Perform water tests and explain results to customers
  • Conduct transactions on the cash register
  • Keep retail and sales area clean and tidy
  • Clean the bathroom every week
  • Answer phones and take thorough messages
  • Use retail tickets to label all returned products and for items that are on hold for a customer

Store Recovery: begin one hour prior to close

  • Put all products back where they belong
  • Make sure everything is stocked for the following day
  • Take out all trash from cans and take to dumpster
  • Break down all cardboard and take to proper dumpster
  • Clean all counter mats and door handles
  • Shut down water testing station ½ hr prior to close
  • Complete everything on the “Before we leave” list
